OkiOki 365-Night Trial & Limited Warranties

Thank you for purchasing our OkiOki product(s). We hold ourselves to high standards and are confident that you’ll be pleased with what you purchased. However, if you are dissatisfied or if you discover a defect in your Product, simply review our Trial Policy and Limited Warranties (below) and, if you believe that you are entitled to take advantage of their terms, please contact us at customerservice@okioki.com or at 1-833-OKIOKI1 for instructions on how to do so.

OkiOki 10-Year Limited Mattress Warranty and 365-Night Trial

365-Night Trial Policy -

If within the first 365 nights of receiving delivery of your new OkiOki Mattress you're not completely satisfied—for any reason—you may return it for a full refund.

If a pickup of your OkiOki mattress is necessary, OkiOki will cover the related charges. However, because we cannot handle international shipping and logistics expenses, your mattress must be in the continental United States at the time you wish to take advantage of the 365-Night Trial Policy. Therefore, as an example, customers in Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, or Alaska, will not be eligible for a free pick-up of their return.

If we pick up your returned mattress, the mattress will likely be donated to charity; if a donation is not possible, the mattress will be recycled.

The OkiOki 365-Night Trial Policy is limited to one return per household per year, and it must be exercised directly with OkiOki no later than the 365th day following delivery of the product for which you want a refund.

As noted above, our 365-Night Trial Policy applies only to original purchasers of OkiOki Products who purchased their product(s) directly from the website at OkiOki.com or our authorized retailers.

The 365-Night Trial Policy thus only applies during the period in which the product is owned and controlled by the original purchaser of that Product.

Warranty -

Your investment in our product is protected by a 10-year Limited Warranty. If you find your mattress is defective, you are entitled to a complete replacement. Your warranty begins when your initial purchase occurs and ends after ten years’ time.

This policy covers any OkiOki mattress purchased directly through our website or any of our authorized third-party retailers and is governed by the laws of the state of California. Please contact us directly if you have a question as to whether or not you are in contact with an official retailer.  Unfortunately, this warranty only extends to customers located in the United States, not including US territories.

Our mattresses are designed to perform their best when properly supported by a firm, solid surface, able to adequately accommodate the weight of the product and sleeper.  Use of this product without a proper foundation (i.e. box spring, foundation, metal frame, or wood frame) renders your warranty null and void.

This warranty and the rights associated with it can only be exercised by the original owner of the mattress and cannot be transferred between customers or other products.

The agreement below is valid only for mattresses used in a strictly residential, private context. At this time, we do not offer a commercial warranty. We consider commercial use to be mattresses used in a hotel or public lodging setting, including AirBnb and other home-sharing programs of a similar nature.

 

What is covered by your Limited Warranty?

You have the right to a full product replacement if your purchase exhibits any of the following:

  • Sagging or indentation in an appropriately-supported mattress greater than one (1) inch in depth.
  • Splitting or cracks found in any of the foam components of the mattress.

If your concern is the mattress’s removable fabric cover, you are entitled to a replacement of the cover only. You are eligible if you have:   

  • A cover with a faulty zipper.
  • Flaws in the fabric such as pre-existing tears or unraveled stitching.

 

What is NOT covered by your Limited Warranty?

Examples of cases not covered by our policy are:

  • Normal wear and tear such as water damage, burns, rips, stains, or other types of deterioration accumulated over the course of the mattress’ life.
  • Customers dissatisfied with the degree of firmness or softness of their mattress – regular use results in a gradual softening of the sleeping surface. This is a standard occurrence and does not inhibit the functionality of your product.
  • Dampness or mold.
  • Normal body impressions not greater than one (1) inch in the mattress as measured below the cover level. Some settling of the fiber in the cover should be expected and is not considered a defect.
  • Damage accrued through commercial use.
  • Mattresses purchased secondhand or through an unauthorized third party reseller.
  1. Please note that some degree of individualization of your OkiOki mattress should be expected. Surfaces may not be perfectly even, and corners may not be perfectly shaped or symmetrical. These are not defects for which you can seek a remedy under this Limited Warranty.

 

How does the Process Work?

To begin the process of having your mattress replaced under these terms, contact us at customerservice@okioki.com or 1-833-OKIOKI1. All complaints must be supplemented with proof of defect and proof of purchase. For example, in the case of a sunken product, we would ask for a photo measuring the severity of the depression.

After proof of defect is sent to our Sleep Specialist, we will confirm whether the defect fits within the warranty. When the Specialist confirms that the defects fits within the warranty, the product must be sent with a copy of the original receipt in order to be eligible for a replacement.  Any associated costs or fees will be the responsibility of the customer.

  1. While we do not issue a new 10-Year warranty to cover your replacement product, we do allow the one covering the initial purchase to carry forward and protect your replacement until the full ten years have elapsed.

 

 

OkiOki 10-Year Limited Metal Bed Frame Warranty and 100-Night Trial

  • Damage caused by Acts of God or other natural forces.
  • Replacement of any non-defective pieces of the Bed Frame (for example, if you one component of the Bed Frame is defective, then we will replace the defective component only).
  1. Any Bed Frame sold by resellers who are not authorized retailers of OkiOki

What is covered by your Limited Warranty?

This limited Box Foundation Warranty applies to Defects due to faulty workmanship or materials, subject to the limitations described in this warranty.

 

What is NOT covered by your Limited Warranty?

Examples of cases not covered by our policy are:

  • Structural or visual damage from using an improper bed frame or placing Foundation on the floor;
  • Physical abuse or damage to the Foundation structure and/or cover material, including but not limited to, burns, cuts, tears, liquid damage, or stains; provided, that the defect is caused by such abuse or damage.
  • Damage caused by commercial use, such as in a hotel or store
  • Replacement of any non-defective pieces in the OkiOki sleep system (for example, if you purchase a Foundation with multiple components and only one component is defective, then we will only replace the defective component)
  • Any Foundation sold by resellers who are not authorized retailers.

 

How does the Process Work?

What is covered by your Limited Warranty?

This Limited Warranty applies to Defects due to faulty workmanship or materials, subject to the limitations described in this warranty. Any physical flaw in the material or a manufacturing defect that causes the bed frame or any component part thereof to split, crack, break, or otherwise fail under conditions of normal use and proper handling.

What is NOT covered by your Limited Warranty?

Examples of cases not covered by our policy are:

  • Minor imperfections, slight cosmetic flaws, or color and finish variations.
  • Normal wear and tear or damage as a result of spot cleaning.
  • Scratches, dings, dents, stains, soiling, burns, and discoloration that occur over time.
  • Damage caused by physical abuse, negligence, improper installation or misuse.
  • Damage caused by commercial use, such as in a hotel or store.
  • Damage caused by Acts of God or other natural forces.
  • Replacement of any non-defective pieces of the Furniture (for example, if one component of Furniture is defective, then we will replace the defective component only).
  • Any Furniture sold by resellers who are not authorized retailers.


How Does The Process Work?

To begin the process of having your furniture replaced under these terms, contact us at customerservice@okioki.com or 1-833-OKIOKI1. All complaints must be supplemented with proof of defect and proof of purchase. After proof of defect is sent to our Sleep Specialist, we will confirm whether the defect fits within the warranty.

While we do not issue a new 3-Year warranty to cover your replacement product, we do allow the one covering the initial purchase to carry forward and protect your replacement until the full three years have elapsed.

 

 

General Information

In the event a dispute arises between you and OkiOki arising out of this Limited Mattress Warranty, such dispute will be determined and settled by binding arbitration between the parties, in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”). More information about the AAA is located at www.adr.org, or you can call the AAA at 1-800-778-7879.

You must seek arbitration for disputes arising out of this Limited Mattress Warranty prior to exercising any rights or seeking any remedies created by the Title I of the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act. If you choose to pursue any rights and remedies that are not created by Title I of the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act, then arbitration is not required.

Arbitration will take place in Los Angeles, California.

The arbitration will not be combined with any other proceeding or arbitration against one of the parties. Each party will designate one arbitrator and the two designated arbitrators will select a third arbitrator, who will serve as the chair of the arbitration panel. If the two arbitrators cannot agree on the third arbitrator, then the AAA will appoint the third arbitrator. Barring extraordinary circumstances, the arbitrators will issue their decision within 120 days from the date the third arbitrator is selected by the two designated arbitrators or appointed by the AAA. The arbitrators may extend this time limit for an additional 30 days in the interests of justice. All arbitration proceedings will be closed to the public and confidential and all related records will be permanently sealed, except as necessary to obtain court confirmation of the arbitration award. The decision and the arbitrators’ award will be in writing and will include a statement setting forth the reasons for the disposition of any claim. A dissenting decision will also be set forth in writing. The arbitrators’ award will be final and binding on the parties, and judgment thereon may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

In addition, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you will not be permitted to assert any claims in the capacity as a representative of a class of consumers, or otherwise to represent the interests of any other person (as a private attorney general or otherwise) in any such arbitration. You shall be able to assert only your own, individual claims in any such arbitration.
